Hotel De Wereld is probably the best known hotel of the Netherlands, as every dutchman knows it was in this hotel that Prince Bernard and Germany signed the peace treaty in 1945. In the spring of 2004 Hotel De Wereld was enchanted back into a picturesque four star hotel located at the 5th of May Square in the center of Wageningen, close to the pittoresque town center as well as nature. At this historical halting place, small scaled and in a very elegant setting, you will find complete peace. This hotel combines old fashioned sincere hospitality with optimal service. Within walking or biking distance of the hotel many beautiful hotspots of Wagenings, Veluwes and Betuwes nature, culture and art are to be found.The first and second floor hold fourteen spacious hotelrooms, among which three suites with separate living- and sleeping-chambers. The rooms are decorated tastfully and contemporarily and equipped with many conveniences. At the ground floor Restaurant O Mundo is situated, a restaurant which has already earned a delicious reputation amongst the gourmand Dutchmen. Furthermore you will find the sandwichbar in the hotel lobby, the closed veranda with a view on the chestnuttree surrounded terrace and the historical capitulation- halls. The 5th of May Square at which Hotel De Wereld is to be found is located at the edge of the old city center of Wageningen-- When visiting you can use our parking facilities free of charge- ask for an exit- coin when you depart-- If you are travelling by car- please take the exit Renkum- Wageningen at the A50-- On top of the Wageningse Berg turn left at the roundabout -three quarters- and proceed in the direction Zetten- Lexkesveer-- You are now driving on the Generaal Foulkesweg-- At the end of this road you will find our hotel-- The car park is located to the right of the hotel-- If you approach Wageningen from the A12- then please take the exit Ede- Wageningen-- When entering Wageningen keep driving straight ahead until you reach the top of the mountain on the Diedenweg -across the Peugeot garage at your right-- At the next intersection you turn right towards Rustenburg-- You are now driving on the Generaal Foulkesweg-- At the end of this road you will find our hotel-- The car park is located to the right of the hotelRoom Descriptions
